Dota 2 Tournaments on PakAibo

PakAibo is a platform for competitive Dota 2 matches and online tournaments. You pick the mode and the entry fee, the platform finds an opponent of a comparable level, and the result of the match changes your rating in that game.

What you can play

Competitive matches

One-off games against a found opponent: Mid 1v1, Duo 2v2, All Pick, Turbo and other Dota 2 modes. Both sides agree on the terms before the lobby is created.

Tournaments

Single-elimination brackets with an entry fee and a shared prize pool. The pot is split between the top places right after the final.

Player rating

Each game has its own rating. Wins and losses move it, a win streak adds on top, and rating unlocks higher ranks and larger entry fees.

How matchmaking works

Choose the game and mode

Dota 2, then the mode you want to play — the list shows what is available right now.

Set the entry fee

The entry fee is held on your game balance while the match is on. Your rank sets the ceiling: the higher the rating, the larger the entry fee allowed.

Find an opponent

Quick search looks for players within a comparable entry fee and rating window, so a match is a contest rather than a walkover. You can also open a lobby and wait for someone.

Play and get the result

The match result is verified, the winner receives the entry fee, and the rating in Dota 2 changes for both players.

Ranks and rating

Rating is counted separately for every game: what you earn in Dota 2 stays in Dota 2. New players go through a calibration period where the steps are larger, and after it the rating settles into the regular ladder. Seven ranks named after Norse figures — from Grísnir to Jörmungandr — mark the way up, and each of them raises the entry-fee ceiling.
