Quick Matches on PakAibo

A quick match is the short path from opening the site to actually playing: pick a game, pick a mode, name an entry fee, and the search finds someone near your level who wants the same thing. No bracket, no schedule, no waiting for an event to start.

What a quick match is

It is a single competitive game between two players who agreed on the terms beforehand — the game, the mode and the amount at entry fee. The match is played in the game itself, not on this site; PakAibo arranges the pairing, holds the entry fee while the match is on, reads the result and moves the rating afterwards.

That is the whole scope. It is not a ladder queue inside another queue, and it does not replace the game's own matchmaking — it decides who you meet and what the game is worth, then steps out of the way.

How it works, step by step

Choose the game

Two games are live right now: Dota 2 and Brawl Stars. Each keeps its own rating, its own modes and its own list of open lobbies.

Choose the mode

The list shows the modes that are open at that moment. Modes that are not yet available are visible but locked, so you can see what is coming without being told it already works.

Set the entry fee

You either take one of the suggested amounts or type your own. The amount is held on your game balance for the duration of the match — it is reserved, not spent, and it comes back if the match does not take place.

Find an opponent

Quick search looks for a player with a comparable entry fee and a comparable rating. If you would rather be found than search, you can open a lobby instead and let someone else join it — both routes end in the same match.

Play the match

Once both sides are in, the match is played in the game itself under the agreed terms.

Get the result and the rating

The outcome is taken from the game's own data rather than from either player's word. The winner receives the prize, and the rating for that game moves for both players.

Games and modes available right now

Dota 2

Open at the moment: 1v1 mid, All Pick 5v5, Captains Mode 5v5, Turbo 5v5 and Ability Draft 5v5. Several further modes exist in the list but are not enabled yet.

Brawl Stars

Open at the moment: Duels 1v1, Brawl Ball, Bounty and Knockout. The remaining modes, including the Showdown formats, are not enabled yet.

Rating and limits

Every game has its own rating and its own rank. Your rank sets the ceiling on how large a entry fee you may play for, and matches started from the website have their own upper limit on top of that.

That list changes as modes are switched on, so treat the page as a snapshot and the app as the source of truth: what you can see in the mode step is what is actually open.

How long the search takes

It depends on how many people are looking at the same time, and honesty is better than a promise here — there is no queue of bots to fall back on. The search starts narrow, matching you against players close to your rating, and widens the window the longer you wait, so a quiet hour ends in a slightly less even match rather than in no match at all.

If nobody is searching for your combination of mode and entry fee, an open lobby is usually faster: it stays visible to everyone browsing matches, including people who have not started a search yet. Find an opponent explains both routes in more detail.

What a quick match is not

It is not a game against the platform — your opponent is another player, and PakAibo is not a side in the match.
It is not instant by decree. When nobody else is online for that mode, there is nothing to pair you with.
It is not a way to earn. Skill decides the result; treat the entry fee as the cost of a competitive game, not as income.
It is not tied to one device — the same account works from the site and from the bot.
